Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless:
Back to School Project - A request has been received to continue a great tradition: collecting school supplies and/or gift cards: Staples, Target, CVS, Rite Aid, etc., to help make the school year brighter for hundreds of homeless children in Massachusetts. This advance notice is being publicized now so that you can “circle your calendar” for the last weekend in July: 24th & 25th and the first weekend in August – 1st. Backpacks and supplies are needed for children: pre-school through high school. (Please leave supplies at the Church ONLY on the dates listed above.) Thanks for whatever generosity you can extend.
Saturday & Sunday, July 31 & August 1 is Food Pantry Weekend. Your donations of non-perishable food items and gifts of monies are gratefully received. Suggested food donations include cereals, peanut butter, canned meats, fruits and vegetables, tuna fish, soups, stews, pasta etc. Thank you for your continued support. The Saint Raphael Food Pantry serves our neighbors in our community and is open every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon.
Friday, August 6 - First Friday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place following the 8:00 Mass until 3:00 PM. Every Friday - Holy Hours are open in the Church after morning Mass until 3:00 PM.
Sunday, August 8 – Baptismal Catechesis will be held in the Church at 10:15 AM. Parents interested in having their child baptized on August 15 should call the Rectory.
Please Note: - The Wedding Music Planning Session for soon-to-be Brides and Grooms has been rescheduled from Sunday, August, 1 to Sunday, August 15 and will take place in the Church with the Music Director at 10:15 AM.

Facility Schedule Planning
For all “heads of organizations”….in order to schedule and plan use of any parish facility for the upcoming year, please call the Rectory – 781-488-5444 Mon-Fri. 9-3:30, to obtain via email or in person a Facility Request Form. All requests are honored on a first come first serve basis.
Please Note: No evening activities can be scheduled during Holy Week, April 17-April 24. Thank You!

Lawrence Memorial Hospital Hosts Senior Supper: Hallmark Health will present another Senior Supper on Tuesday, August 10th at 5:00 PM at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The topic is “Peripheral Vascular Disease and the Elderly” and reservations are required.
The evening includes a sit down dinner with a choice of entrees, two sides, a beverage and dessert, free blood pressure screenings, a free raffle and an informational talk for $4.95. Payment can be made upon arrival. To make reservations and for information call: 781-979-6105.
