Sacraments:

Anointing of the Sick

This sacrament may take several forms:

  • The priest could go to the home of the person to be anointed. The participation of family and friends should be strongly encouraged to witness the ecclesial character of the sacrament
  • The parish could invite the sick person to participate in a scheduled weekday or Sunday Eucharist along with family and friends
  • Nursing homes and other long-term care facilities, such as hospice facilities, could schedule communal anointing liturgies in their institutional calendars.

Please contact the Parish for information on how to make arrangements to receive this sacrament.

Baptism

Baptisms are usually performed on the Third Sunday of each Month. A required Baptism Preparation Class is usually held on the Second Sunday of each month.  Please contact the Rectory for registration information  and scheduling a date.

Marriage

The Sacrament of Marriage represents an important step in the life of any couple. Like all sacraments, it requires spiritual preparation and it should be noted that a Marriage Preparation Course is required. A Wedding Ceremony also requires additional planning as you must reserve the Church and coordinate with the Music Director.

Making Wedding Arrangements

After your engagement the next step in preparing for Marriage is to make a personal appointment to meet with one of our priests. This must be done at least six months in advance of your desired date. You will also need to enroll in a Marriage Preparation Course. There are a number of options in this regard and the priest will work with you to choose one that is best for each couple.

Wedding Music

Wayne Mondello, our Music Director, conducts scheduled workshops for Brides and Grooms for the sole purpose of selecting the music for their upcoming wedding. During this workshop a list of Liturgical wedding songs is distributed and then performed by Mr. Mondello and a Soloist.

When planning your wedding, we suggest you contact the Rectory to confirm that you are planning on attending one of these workshops. We suggest a session a few months prior to your wedding.

These workshops will take place in the Church immediately following the 9:15AM Sunday Mass. Below is a list of dates on which the workshops are to be held:
